Meio beach, Natal

(1.7/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
Close to the city’s historic center, Meio beach is connected to two other beaches popular with families vacationing with small children. At low tide many natural pools of calm water are revealed along this beach. Children use these large puddles of clean water as their private swimming pools, as their parents relax on the sand. On this beach you can mingle with locals dropping by for a quick swim, walk along the busy boardwalk, try surfing at high tide, or sit down at a restaurant or bar for a quiet meal of fresh seafood. You can also find lots of large rocks scattered along the coastline, which visitors often use as diving platforms, or sunbathing/picnicking areas for the whole family. Plan your Meio beach visit and explore what else you can see and do in Natal using our Natal vacation route planner.

  • The meio beach is the kind of beach that you either love or hate, I noticed the constant currents on this beach, the rocks appear to be dirty, the staff should have more awareness and not play the dirt on the floor, there's plenty of traveling salesman, is near the praia dos artistas

  • Very crowded, with very careless person and people barely seen, stays in the neighborhood more simple. There's sand, and many rocks on the beach

  • I was staying in front of this beach, which is not one of the worst places. Minutes from the forte dos reis magos, the beach has many people selling their products as coconut water, ice cream, snacks and other. It is close to the pharmacy, small market, it's not so clean but nothing prevents you from enjoying the site. Anyway, come back to enjoy.
