  • Museum of history and geography of the State R.G. do NORTE: R da Conceizao 622 is located opposite the old cathedral and beside the Potengi Palace (Palacio de la Cultura). Among them is the Capitoline column, gift of Mussolini to the city of Natal. The building was constructed in 1906, neoclassical style typical of the Europe of the second half of the 19th century, with geometric design, columns, stairs and a monumental facade. It is one of the oldest institutions of the State and was created during the first Government of Alberto Albuquerque Maranhão who was concerned about the preservation of the historical and documentary heritage of the RG State do Norte. Colonial history, Imperial and Republican are represented in photos, newspapers and magazines that show life in Natal. (8 to 17 hours)
