Barra De Punau, Natal
(4.2/5 based on 1,600+ reviews on the web)
A water sport spot with a nice eatery, Barra De Punau is a family stop with activities for all ages. Rent a kayak to take down river or use the skibunda to practice your water skiing skills. A skibunda is a series of cables strung above a body of water. One of these cables attaches to handlebars that you hang on to while the cable pulls you along the water's surface. If you’re in the mood for more adventure, then take a ride on the ATV for extra thrills. The area surrounding the river is quiet, clean, and provides some lovely scenery for chill time on a river beach. Try the on site restaurant for a some tasty grub. Plan your visit to Barra De Punau and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Natal vacation builder.

  • You can enjoy the site without needing to stay, just pay an entrance fee (worth it). You will enjoy the river and the sea. Quadricículo rental option, kaiaking and horseback riding. Set aside a full day to enjoy the site.

  • The place is really beautiful. However, I consider it an unnecessary stop-and expensive! The van leaves early from the hotel, for in Punaú and all morning the tide drops to take tourists for diving in the coral reefs of Maracajaú or Peroba trees. The attractions are the same (ATV, "aerobundas", kayak, horse buggy) but in smaller routes, as a consolation for the time spending money, while waiting for the main tour. All very expensive. The sea is near, you can walk, but got no support, you have to bring water, food, sunscreen etc.

  • Nice place to walk and reach the sea, picturesque and natural landscape. Not did activities, I think that that would have improved significantly the experience. In short, nice place to spend an afternoon.
