  • Loved Gamboa, was yesterday and before returning to Salvador I'm going to plan to go again. We are hosted in Morro de Sao Paulo in the first Beach, but of little boat out in the Hall paid 10 to get actual Gamboa, I spent a wonderful day there, at the restaurant "blue" they separate by color to chair the restaurants ... anyway there ate shrimp and fish muqueca Octopus asked for they add banana and witnessed the best fish muqueca in the world! The sea is wonderful, hot water, low tide and at the end of the day I was going through in my clay rosto....com sure I will come back

  • Further, making it more comfortable and clean. It's worth going to the wall of clay, and then stay at Monkey Beach. Really liked it!!

  • Access to the beach of Gamboa, is simple and fast, just buy the box office at the entrance of Morro de Sao Paulo, for $5, and elderly don't pay, big, safe boat and goes to the wharf of Gamboa, after disembarking, walk about 10 minutes walk and the path will have several restaurants, we chose by a tourist, the Clay Beach, in addition to being friendly and helpful, they lend kayaks, floats and networks, without any cost, in addition to the food being delicious, it was the best moqueca I ate shrimp in Morro de Sao Paulo , hotter than that famous Guido, enjoy to take the natural coconut juice, made with the Green coconut water and beaten along with the white coconut inside, a spectacle of refreshment. In addition to being close to where you can take the clay bath, passed up the hair, after drying a pouoi, remove in the sea and have a smooth skin and soft, like a baby, the only drawback is that I leave spotted pure cotton white , already put to vanish and not cleaned, it was yellowish and ugly, so to get in place a bikini and older output. The hint. To return to Morro de São Paulo, in front of this restaurant the kids comes with small boat and pay R $5.00 to return, it's quiet, too. There is another way to go to the beach of Gamboa, walk, verging on the sea, but I didn't, because I was told that the bridge that exists at the path that is very old and balance, and also need to see if the tide is low, otherwise, it is not recommended to the crossing. I will be back for sure to this paradise.

Where to stay in Morro de Sao Paulo

A good set of pousadas (guesthouses) and small hotels nestle up as close as they can to Morro de Sao Paulo's main beach areas, offering rooms to suit a variety of budgets and tastes. Some enjoy additional facilities, such as outdoor pools, bars, and restaurants, and one of the primary concerns for visitors is securing a sea view. However, if you're looking to spend more time outside than in, you'll find plenty of affordable rooms throughout the atmospheric little village. Come peak season (December to March), however, big crowds mean that free rooms are scarce, so book ahead.
