Farol do Morro, or “Lighthouse Hill,” is the a personal paradise created by Antonio and Rosita Couto. So stunned by the view and the location, the couple decided to share their newfound paradise with other travelers opening a hotel on the magical site in 1986. Nowadays, guests of the hotel and visitors frequent the restaurant for the pristine views accessible from one of the busiest walking streets in Morro de São Paulo.   • It's a pretty heavy trail for arrive at the lighthouse, arriving there all closed, if only to see the lighthouse isn't worth it.

  • Impossible to go in Hill and not take a "subinha" at the lighthouse, one of the best views of the island. Not to be missed!!

  • Very good to know this place big Walk but worth every step! View is wonderful great place to contemplate the sunset.

  • Near the lighthouse there is the view from the viewpoint of the Zipline. Think I might have a better structure for the Observatory, and with more explanatory boards on the historical ruins. There are several ruins and has no information about what they were.
