Wildlife Area
Take a scenic route to Cascatinha, noted for several pools of calm water where you can swim or fish undisturbed by the usual tourist crowds. The site is slightly off the beaten path but does feature a well-maintained picnic area and public toilets. You can bring your own snacks and beverages, or drop by one of a few nearby food kiosks, which serve light meals of roasted chicken or fish. There is also a designated camping area with a view of the sea, where you can pitch your tent for a day or two, or spend an afternoon picnicking on the grass with the whole family.
