  • The location is pretty cool. Is in the oldest part of the city, where she began. The building is unique and has been restored to house the Museum. About of 60 years ago and during a certain period, the building housed the school group, today State school, Carlos Versiani. From 1965, worked there the FAFIL, Faculty of philosophy, Sciences and letters, later incorporated into the State University of Montes Claros, founded in 1989. Monthly theme and musical events happen eventually film shows, lectures and debates. Valley view even the architecture of the time.

  • A good place to learn a little of our history, I made a trip to the past, with pictures and objects. A bath of culture, not to be missed!

  • Although the structure of the building to be in the middle of deterioration, there is a great commitment of the managers view the few and poorly maintained documents and other antiques. I didn't like.
