Where to stay in Monte Verde

For a small town, there are an exceptional number of accommodations in Monte Verde. There's no particular hotspot to aim for--almost every street offers several places to stay in the form of small inns or bed and breakfasts housed in traditional wooden houses. You can find a few larger hotels toward the edge of town or just beyond its limits. The high level of competition has ensured good-quality rooms and high standards of service across the board, in fact, plenty of accommodations offer spas and other luxury comforts as a part of your stay. Reserve your accommodations in advance, especially in January and February, when the town experiences its biggest influx of the year.

  • There is not much to see or do, it is basically a store with nice art. If you want to buy something than its great, otherwise its definitely not a must-see.  more »
  • The region and European artists have created unique pieces with own drawings, I just thought it was a bit expensive for my pocket.

  • The location and beautiful and very nice. The works are interesting and undisputed talent but the prices are prohibitive. It's not a must. Does not charge admission.
