Mangue Seco Beach, Mangue Seco

4.4
Small and charmingly rustic, the fishing village of Mangue Seco Beach lies at the tip of a peninsula formed by the Rio Real on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Sandy trails connect a few scattered homes, locally-run guesthouses and restaurants, and a tiny, typical Brazilian church. To get from the village, on the river bank, to the ocean, you cross a vast expanse of tall, white sand dunes, perfect for dune buggies. The beach itself is wide and flat, and the warm shallows stretch out far into the sea. Despite the area's fame, its beaches having featured in a well-known telenovela, the extra effort required to access it keeps the tourist crowds at bay; it is easy, therefore, to find a stretch of beach all to yourself. The easiest way to get to the village of Mangue Seco, Bahia, is by the village of Pontal, in Sergipe. The crossing is made by barges or boats. For those who make the trip by receptive, usually crossing is included in the price of the tour. Arriving in town, the transfer to the beach is made through the buggy, which is waiting to perform the return. Are three different prices, depending on the path taken. R $90.00 so that goes straight from the village to the beach and R $130.00 or R $170.00 for who wants to go for a ride through the dunes for longer before going to the beach, depending on the size of this route. On the beach there is a tent of support, for those who want to use chairs and networks. But, prepare your wallet, because prices are well salted. Worth taking snacks or come back early to find cheaper prices in restaurants of the village.

We were vacationing in the city of Aracaju. We bought this tour the Mangue Seco in an agency on the edge of Atalaia. And that ride, one of the best I've ever done! A van took us to the boundaries of Sergipe,/Bahia there we took a boat and crossed to Mangue Seco. The atravessia you already yields great photos!! Mangue Seco was where they filmed the SOAP Tieta!! Arriving at Mangue Seco took a buggy. This was the top of the ride, how wonderful to ride a Buggy through the dunes, place, running with a lot of emotion lindoo of course! We made a couple of stops at strategic points for photos and left us on a beach where we had lunch a delicious food and spent the afternoon!! Reconendadíssimo ride! Would come back for sure! ❤

The location is beautiful, we left the beach for a day trip in mangue seco. It was a great ride. The Buggy Ride was fun, with outdoor activities and incredible landscapes. But the highlight of the day was driving the ATV in the dunes. An addendum to the original tour but that I highly recommend.
