Mangue Seco Beach, Mangue Seco

Beach Nature / Park
Small and charmingly rustic, the fishing village of Mangue Seco Beach lies at the tip of a peninsula formed by the Rio Real on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Sandy trails connect a few scattered homes, locally-run guesthouses and restaurants, and a tiny, typical Brazilian church. To get from the village, on the river bank, to the ocean, you cross a vast expanse of tall, white sand dunes, perfect for dune buggies. The beach itself is wide and flat, and the warm shallows stretch out far into the sea. Despite the area's fame, its beaches having featured in a well-known telenovela, the extra effort required to access it keeps the tourist crowds at bay; it is easy, therefore, to find a stretch of beach all to yourself. • A true paradise on the border between Sergipe and Bahia. Did the tour from the tour departure from Aracaju. We left at 07:45 and go around 17:30. The village is very small, but very charming. The streets are of sand, so locomotion just for buggy or 4 X 4 vehicles. This location was filmed the SOAP Tieta do Agreste. Interesting that there is not in the wild. There are some shops, Inns and restaurants in the locality. The buggy rides have 3 price (R $90.00-short, R-$130.00 and R-$170.00 medium long) and up to 4 people. I did, and I think that is the best in the equation between cost, benefit, and time spent. Well worth making the trip, even the shorter even. The beach has a parking lot of the sand buggys and some tents with food and drink. Accept cards. Recommend a visit.

  • I'm not connected in places related to the production of films, novels, etc. But Mangue Seco has your own relevance, starting with the short drive from Aracaju, crossing the boat, by the town and through the dunes. Worth knowing the beach, the famous coconut trees and the village.

  • One of the most beautiful places I've ever met! Fantastic ride. We made the crossing Sergipe-Mangue Seco of schooner and there we took the buggy ride through the dunes to the beach. The place is wonderful-I advise to anyone who can sleep one night in Mangue Seco to enjoy this paradise.
