Mangue Seco Beach, Mangue Seco

4.4
Small and charmingly rustic, the fishing village of Mangue Seco Beach lies at the tip of a peninsula formed by the Rio Real on one side, and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Sandy trails connect a few scattered homes, locally-run guesthouses and restaurants, and a tiny, typical Brazilian church. To get from the village, on the river bank, to the ocean, you cross a vast expanse of tall, white sand dunes, perfect for dune buggies. The beach itself is wide and flat, and the warm shallows stretch out far into the sea. Despite the area's fame, its beaches having featured in a well-known telenovela, the extra effort required to access it keeps the tourist crowds at bay; it is easy, therefore, to find a stretch of beach all to yourself. • The tour provides the contemplation of beautiful scenery. Did the tour leaving from Aracaju and going up to the hamlet of Headland where the crossing to Mangue Seco. The friendly village of Mangue Seco has a few streets. The Buggy ride passes through beautiful dunes (places of immeasurable beauty) and its final point of Mangue Seco Beach which is beautiful, quiet! The beach has a few tents with "kiosks" of Brazil. I was in the first tent, the service is good and the food reasonable. The bathrooms are pretty simple. A few stalls, there's between them two girls cakes and seal talk all close and rhythmic. A place for those who want beauty, quietness and don't want luxury.

  • Mangue Seco is a beautiful place, like movie scenario. The white dunes and its towering coconut palms are stunning, the sea doesn't have that blue color in the water, but it perfectly to bathe and the town where the novel Contact was recorded, is little more well pretty and cozy. The charm of this village is the lack of progress, to keep it that way. Dune buggy ride there, but following the tips of a Friend and local residents, as well as the owner of the Receptive Help, I made the walk, I made tracks climbing the dunes and the tip is for if you feel lost, having as reference the telephony and tv tower , did this and quietly arrived doing trail and alone, in all places where others arrived by buggy driving, and besides being a much nicer ride and exciting, I saved 50 Kings.

  • You can reach the beach by boat. Who's going to leave the car even in garages in the back of the houses of the residents in Praia do Pontal is safe and cheap. Nature is prodigal in Mangue ... white dunes and the immensity of the sea, all by coconut trees ornate! The small village dirt road is a charm .... the wonderful sunset. The beach walking or buggy rental. You can have lunch there in restaurants installed in tents on the beach. However the food is expensive and bad and cleanliness of establishments leaves something to be desired. The preservation of the environment should have special attention on the part of the residents and authorities.
