  • a pleasant place to air live, well maintained and with various specimens, worth checking out. Stay at the Hotel tropical.

  • When it comes to Manaus to be located in a region rich and abundant in species of brazilian fauna, I think the zoos in the region should be much better than are available to the public, is local, or visitors/tourists. Miss investments in this sector, to highlight more animals in the region, apart from the lack of animals from other regions, as is explained in other zoos in the country!

  • With some of the native forest will be showy funny moments with the kids. Monkeys are a moment aside.

  • It has a great location ample space and huge parking area, next to the negro river, spacious rooms but yes the furniture is very out dated. But the place is not posh, the reception by staff was cold not interested in receiving guests, the rooms did not have adequate sheets , nor there was any water or even a electric kettle to prepare own tea coffee. we ordered a pizza said it will take 20 Min and took more than 1Hr 30 Min and came Luke warm when asked No 9 the reply was "what can i do". We were to leave early in the morning before the breakfast, requested for packed break fast and there is no such facility, requested if we can use the 24 Hr coffee facility at the restaurant initially it was negative latter the Manager who comes at 11 PM said it is ok to have. Another time we ordered tea in the lounge area and took ages to be served. Overall not a great experience as the reviews suggest. Service / hospitality is missing here
  • For a luxury place this hotel has a lot to catch up, i picked up the luxury double room. The hotel has a lot of potential, but the rooms are badly cleaned, very old mirrors, the towers are yellowish (when they suppose to be white), the sheets were in the same situation with a lot of stains on it, all the mirror were very dirty, along with the pool for the turtles, you have the impression that they are swimming in mud, i would even say that they never cleaned the pool in which the turtles are in (the pool for the turtles are right next to the guests pool), all concrete parts of the hotel were covered in moss, the roofs were as well all covered in moss, the glass from the windows were all dirty, which is really bad since we have a great view from it. But i would put 5 starts for the personnel always welcoming and sympathetic; for the restaurant/food i would say 4 starts, only because there were very few fruits (i was born in manaus and i know that there are almost an infinity number of fruits here); we only had watermelon, pineapple and sometimes melon. If the hotel wants to hire me as a consultant i have plenty of ideas. The dishes, including desert, from the restaurant is perfect, very fresh fishes well prepared, although they could offer some more option of desert.
  • Nice place. They got a real zoo. Amazing breakfast but the rooms are too old!
  • This resort has everything. Nicest staff . I even extended my stay. Not sure what's up with the bad reviews ??? Maybe other hotels posting ... Not one negative experience since I arrived... And I am a difficult person to please.... You will have zero regrets staying here .... they have everything
  • Great resort... many and big rooms, the pool area is very good. Near ponta negra beach.
