  • Good place to learn a bit about the history of Manaus and greater Amazonas state. Exhibits are themed well by period/historical events. Bilingual tour guides help explain everything.  more »

  • Annex to the Villa, located in Praça Heliodoro Provincial Balbi, popularly known as Plaza de la Police. Was organized and opened in 1984, at the initiative of the General command of the military police (PM), under the technical guidance of the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation. Offers historical collection of Amazonas Rico from parts of the military police. In 2009, the Museum is reinstalled on your old site, today named – Provincial Palace, representing an important share to the understanding of the history of the State and the Corporation to which it belongs and should therefore be preserved and made available to the society, thus fulfilling the role of your transmitter of knowledge and values.
