  • One of the best bathing beaches in the region. As it is a reservation, has no bars, or a lot of infrastructure (especially if you are at the time of the flood) but it is a very quiet beach, no loud music. Another detail worth noting is avoid going on Sundays, because the beach is pretty full, mainly from the 11:00.

  • When I decided to travel to Manaus started researching different trips, and called me a lot of attention to the beach of the Toupee. Arriving in Manaus, the references of the sites were great. Watch only if while you're there, for the time of ebb of the River, if not the beach disappears. In September was perfect for visiting. We took a speedboat leaving the Marina. We had to wait a little because the boat only comes out with a minimum of 10 people. We got lucky and had two girls and a family who also wanted to go. In 40 minutes we arrived. Nice place, quiet and safe. They say that on the weekends it gets busy, we went on a Friday and it was great. There were only two boats and, at most, some 20 people on the beach. The bordering who live that way offer drinks and meals for lunch. Arriving on the beach already order to be ready in time for lunch. Is a beach for beautiful scenery and tranquility. Worth swim in the calm waters of the Rio Negro. Beautiful photos and a delicious home-cooked food. Recommend too much. The weekends come out more frequent boats from the Marina (if I'm not mistaken, the 9:00 and the 11:00), or so it is worth booking a boatman, should you wish to go on your own.

  • An island, whose arrival only on Spears or private boats, the place has no option for food, usually people take to feed there, noticed that there is a small village, a school Hall. The place is great to spend the day with your family and enjoy this beautiful beach!
