Where to stay in Manaus

Manaus knows the main demographic of tourists who come to visit, and caters accordingly. To suit younger travelers setting off on their Amazonian adventure, the city offers budget options aplenty. You can find any number of vibrant hostels and cozy guesthouses, both in the center of town and in the northern neighborhood of Adrianopolis. For a wild experience, and perhaps a taste of what's to come as you journey into the Amazon, stay in a jungle eco-lodge on the outskirts of the city, where you can get in touch with the renowned nature of the area.

  • This square has trees, flowers, and it is close to Manaus downtown. Nice place but there are no other relevant attractions.  more »
  • I went the night with some friends to play guitar. I found the place super quiet and safe, even at night. Recommend!

  • A very cool square, or a good conversation. You can sit and talk under cork oaks fine pastries or walking underneath the hanging garden. Very pretty.

  • I used to like this place a lot, but today no longer pleases me for having become an abandoned square and frequented by the homeless and alcoholics. It's a shame the neglect of the Town Hall.
