Built in 1874, the former police headquarters of city of Manaus has recently been restored and is now a museum, Palacete Provincial. It houses several excellent exhibits, including art by contemporary Amazonas artists, colorful paintings, a comprehensive coin display, and old photographs depicting the history of the Military Police in Manaus. The museum is found across from a city square with green gardens, which highlights the building’s pink exterior.   • In this building there are various Museum with different themes, to my I really liked painting and the image and sound. There is one on the police which is interesting to see some history of the Brazil know that. It has a cafeteria that reminds me of Lisbon in portugal. type cafes bars virtually unseen in manar I

  • Retired site and with various items such as ballot, coins, medals, we can also see the bottom where has the old cells when operated as police headquarters. It's well located so well worth knowing.

  • The villa houses 4 museums, very well organized. I really enjoyed the Numismatic Museum with old coins from around the world, was donated by a collector. The image and sound, it's small, but combines turn-of-the-century cameras.

  • One of the most beautiful palaces of Manaus. I recommend to all who come to the city to pay him a visit. A journey in history. There you can find a little of the history of the police in Manaus and in Brazil. Has several rooms each with a curiosity more interesting than the other. I highly recommend that anyone who come to Manaus that make a visit to see some of our past. Staff excellence guides. There is always a bilingual person answering.
