  • Good place to visit and meet, to go back a little in time to get to know and understand a little of the indigenous culture.

  • Walk through the rooms or ask a guide at (student, English). Actually the oldest and largest collection, at a brought from the Rio Negro, by the mostly Italian and Spanish fathers Salesians at a time when the missionary work comes first, with care as close second ... Tucano and M Indians.

  • It has a lot of items. Tools. Etc. of native people. It is a quick visit but ok. No air conditioning. No great lighting. 10rs or 2.5 usd
  • Interesting pieces on display but I noticed some problems. The rooms count with presence detector-triggered lighting and the lights are switched off automatically if the visitor is outside the area covered by the sensor. The listing was recorded in pieces in place of prominence in the eyes of the visitor and to the detriment of the integrity of the well itself. The information concerning the items on display are not arranged in order to facilitate easy information correlation with the object described, discouraging the visitor to enjoy the Museum. I hope you feel better.

  • As Rico, but entry pay and precarious structure. But there's a little shop with great options to purchase artesatanatos.

  • I thought that by being in Manaus there are few pieces, could be better, a better option is the Museum of the Amazon, MUSE, where you get in touch with nature and has an exhibition of indigenous objects.
