Igreja de São Sebastião, Manaus

(4.7/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web)
Igreja de São Sebastião echoes with the sound of bells calling worshippers to service. Services are held often and in-between you'll see the devoted paying their respects to the glowing image of Saint Sebastion. The interior of the church is a mosaic of light-colored marble that reverberates with the sounds of services past. You'll see colorful icons and domed ceilings with checkered green and white tiles lining their interior. Stop by and take a few photos of the domes, or simply the angelic ringing of the church bells.
  • Point of reference for the Centre of Manaus, a necessary visit as well as the Teatro Amazonas
