  • Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi was the sculptor responsible for the creation and production of the famous "statue of liberty", which is the symbol of the city of New York-USA. What few people know is that under his supervision his Foundry created two identical statues in the forms, however different only in size. One is in France, in the Luxembourg Garden in Paris. The other is in MACEIÓ-AL, Brazil (opposite the MISA-Museum of image and sound of Alagoas)!!! The many thousands of copies all over the world were produced by other foundries, etc.

  • We entered. Free entry. Sign the book. We were waiting for the boy who would later show the Museum. He didn't show up, so we visited on their own. Have some older objects and many of the years 90. Great for taking the kids.

  • Justifies the name. Located in the Bohemian Maceió in a listed building and well maintained. It pays to know the collections and thematic exhibitions. A little culture never hurt anybody!
