  • We started doing the tours in Maceió with the Gaucho Tourism company. The first ride, the day was 1/15/2017 Maragogi, because the tides were very favorable. We were taken to a local, whose support was the restaurant taste of Maragogi. From there, we took a vessel, called Blue Peróba, which led us to a natural pool. This pool, however, is not part of the main pools (that the postcard of Maragogi, that is the attraction of the region, we haven't been there). In the pool, we noticed that there were not as many fish as well and it didn't look like anything like what had been promised. At the scene, only small boats and small boats selling drinks. There were no other larger vessels there as our (this fact attracted our attention too). We complain with the Avacir Guide (known by the nickname Avatar) that we enjoyed the walk or boat (do a separate review, but it was the Blue Peróba) or the restaurant (taste of Maragogi-I will do a separate review-the food took an life and cold arrived). The guide said that "Maragogi only had name. It wasn't all that. " In other words, the Guide still despised tourist spot. Return to Maceió. Luckily, there were people of the Secretary of tourism in the handicraft Pavilion and we were able to clarify that, in fact, the company had not taken us to correct tourist spot, but the other pool. When talking with the Gaucho, this said we were wrong and we had Yes known Maragogi. Immediately, I cancelled the remaining rides and hired another company. Unfortunately, the damage was irreparable, because there was low tide so we could redo the tour the Maragogi (the main attraction of the trip). During the remainder of the trip, I found other guides, taxi drivers and local residents confirmed that the place where we were taken it was the tip of the Mangue (is a beautiful beach, but it's not the location of the vessels to the main pools). Not satisfied, still sought in Google Maps and confirmed that the site was really Mangue tip, about 7 km from the correct location. After all this, the Gaucho continued stating that had taken us to Maragogi. In fact, we went to a beach in Maragogi, but was NOT the PROMISED TOURIST SPOT. Important to note that tourism companies have points on the beaches. These points usually are restaurants and, of course, the company receives some value to take tourists there. That explains a lot. Therefore, careful not to ruin your trip. When hiring a company, ask what the pool will be taken and from where they will leave the vessels. Ask the name of the anchor point (restaurant). Throw in maps and check out really is in the correct location. Do it before closing the tour. This is not the only company that acts in bad faith. There are others too. And always this information so others don't fall in this trap. In Annex: pictures of the pool where we were and maps, showing the distance to the correct point. It was a beautiful site? Yes, but it was not the promised tourist spot. In the photo, taken at a time when we were on our boat, you can verify only the smaller boats. Now compare our picture to the photo available on the websites that make the dissemination of Maragogi and draw their own conclusions. Another thing: we made the trip to praia do Gunga the Gaucho company tourism, but the Guide DID NOT STOP in the MIRANTE DO GUNGA. Just stopped on the edge of the asphalt to whoever wanted to take photo from a barbed wire fence (unfortunate). I came to the point with our new guide and had a magnificent view of the Palm trees and beaches, with Barra de São Miguel and Maceió in the background. To get up there, you pay the amount of whimsy 3.00 R$ (January/2017). DON'T LET THIS COMPANY DEPRIVE THESE AND OTHER WONDERS OF YOU AND MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TRIP!

  • Impeccable service made by the Gaucho, who attends to the hotel to explain each ride to ensure it's too nice and safe. We did two tours: the pools of Maragogi and the mouth of the San Francisco. Vehicle in good repair, with enough knowledge and skills to deal with the group that contributes to the tours stay even better.

  • Great service. The Gaucho always very attentive and great tips. Always have a mate. We stayed 9 days in Maceió and made the company all tours. Our guide was the Avatar. He is very attentive, fun, punctual, knows the history of the city, with training for the function and always concerned with the well-being of all. The Gaucho entertained us in the place where we stayed and took us to the airport on our return.
