In this museum is known the history of Amapá, his declaration of political as territory federal and State Brazil. Also some of the heroes who fought against the French to be Amapa Brazilian soil. It also has some paintings, statues and other utensils from time. It is worth knowing.

Where to stay in Macapa

Macapa offers a relatively small variety of mid-range hotels and accommodation options. As this isn’t a common backpacker town, you may have trouble finding hotel staff who speak English, so come prepared to speak some basic Portuguese or bring a good phrase book. Look for accommodations in the center of the city to be within walking distance to most attractions, or stay near one of the few roads into town.
