  • The entry, however, costs R $10 per person. I thought it was expensive, but this is the only way to get access to the space. There is a bar on site and the owner is very nice. The caipivodka was very good

  • Beautiful site, despite the name, ideal for family excursions, pure pleasure, the fall of the waterfall is small, but pleasant.

  • I chose not to enter the water at the bottom (had many tadpoles) better climb the rocks and go in the piscininhas above.

  • The place is pretty nice, provides swimming, which is kind of difficult in the region. Familiar location, low price, however I was not quiet as to the quality of water being good to bath.

Where to stay in Nova Friburgo

As a popular tourist hotspot, Nova Friburgo boasts a wide range of boutique, midsize hotels in the city center, mainly clustered within a few blocks of the Bengalas River. These accommodations, just a short walk from the city's main streets, tend to be somewhat upscale, with onsite pools and gardens. Many feature architectural styles reminiscent of Swiss and German mountain chalets. In the hills south of the city, past Point de Saudade, you'll find more nature-oriented options and eco-lodges, which focus on comfort combined with a somewhat rustic feel. Plenty of "pousadas" also dot the area: traditional Brazilian guesthouses offering lower prices in exchange for fewer amenities.
