  • I love taking a bath and prove the craft beer of the place. I'd rather go out of high season because access bottles. Take cover or towel. Have parking facilities. Caution on rainy days as part of the access is not paved.

  • Valley meet, but only if it is not raining. Access is complicated and went with a guide, since it did not know the location. There's a bar and they do not accept credit cards, only cash.

Where to stay in Nova Friburgo

As a popular tourist hotspot, Nova Friburgo boasts a wide range of boutique, midsize hotels in the city center, mainly clustered within a few blocks of the Bengalas River. These accommodations, just a short walk from the city's main streets, tend to be somewhat upscale, with onsite pools and gardens. Many feature architectural styles reminiscent of Swiss and German mountain chalets. In the hills south of the city, past Point de Saudade, you'll find more nature-oriented options and eco-lodges, which focus on comfort combined with a somewhat rustic feel. Plenty of "pousadas" also dot the area: traditional Brazilian guesthouses offering lower prices in exchange for fewer amenities.
