Created by Mayor Ivan Brasil in 1932 and revitalized in 2011, Praca do Coreto is a small, picturesque square, centered around a bandstand and small fountain. Relax and unwind, surrounded by carefully landscaped trees, and old houses that retain their colonial styling. The bandstand is often used as a performance space, and on weekends you can buy popcorn from an old-fashioned vendor.
