  • This building had construction begun in 1769 and your completed in 1784. The technique used was that of "taipa de pilão". Architectural technique prevalent in the region. In your construction there was significant contribution of black arm slaved. By the end of the 14th century under your stone floor were buried many people, as was common at the time, until the Secularization of cemeteries arose with the Republic. In the episode called "Siege of Lapa" two heroes: the colonels Gomes Carneiro and Cândido Amin, killed in action and buried in the array in 1894. Built in Portuguese colonial style, the array of Santo Antônio, honors the patron saint of Lapa and houses a Holy collection with pieces dating from the 18th, 19th and early 20TH century. The only touch of Baroque composition is the horizontal domain and the predominance of the full of a front bit leaked resulting in heavy image, mitigated by the curvilinear gable design. Listed by IPHAM in 1938 and the historical and artistic heritage of Parana in 1972, is the oldest architectural landmark of historic Lapa.

  • One of the most beautiful Churches I've ever seen, different architecture, the Whim and taste in every detail, from a time when it was thought to leave a treasure for future generations. Built in the time of slavery by Kind Hands and Souls, in every grain of sand in your building a prayer and a wish for a better world. And in each tile, clay sure GOD does not forsake the humble. Enter the Church is like taking a trip back in time. Locals and with his paintings ... unlike anything I've ever seen. The ship is simply Beautiful, Locals Really an atmosphere of prayer and contemplation of God!!!
