  • The place is small and charges a small fee ($ 3) for visitation. The collection is interesting for those who are very interested in archeology. I thought a bit and a lot of information to massante a small site, but if you are already in the area worth a visit. There is a box with sand where children can play to discover fossils.

  • The Museum was conceived and founded by Mihály Bányai, a Hungarian who had knowledge of the work done by Peter Lund in Minas Gerais and devoted himself to archaeological studies in the region of Lagoa Santa, seeking to preserve the traces of the period of prehistory in the region. The Museum is a differential in respect of its architecture, in the form of castelinho, very common in Europe. The acquis is not large, but it is essential to visit for lovers of history and archaeology or people who want to broaden their knowledge, once home to human fossils that are among the oldest of Brazil and contains elaborate explanations and clear that aid in understanding of the pieces and the context of production.

  • Small but very interesting Museum to learn about the history data of primitive tribes that inhabited the region.
