  • This museum has very beautiful and in excellent condition! There is no interactive or educational planning as well, I think those who visit should be able to extract more thing. At least on the day I was there was no monitoring or something and local boards speak little: almost everything on the exposed material culture. The objects tell the story! And it's amazing how some items are beautiful and well preserved, as well as interesting. Well worth a visit! The company's history is intertwined with the history of the city and thinking the story of Brazil railway is to understand a whole bigger context.

  • because of the influence of father-in-law with 40 years of telegraphy in railroads, searched to meet what was in the Museum. Surprised me for parts, but owed for explanations regarding the same.

  • The Museum is great. It has an enclosed area with various furniture and objects which were used at the beginning of the railroad. On the outside, some locomotives are accessible to visitors so they can take pictures and even climb on them. The historic building is perfect for those who like architecture.

  • Great point. Needs improvement boards with the texts for ease of reading and understanding.

  • An excellent initiative to preserve the history of railroads in São Paulo, even with reduced space, has a good collection of items to ascertain the identity of companies operating the stretch of the former Santos-Jundiaí

  • Interesting to know the history of the railways, it's just a shame to see some locomotives if screwing it in time. You can take pictures but no flash inside where the holdings.

  • Has many interesting pieces. Could be in better conservation, but should make "miracle" with the resources they receive.

Where to stay in Jundiai

Plenty of high-rises poke up from Jundiai's skyline, and among them are several big-name international hotel chains. For easy access to the city core, consider staying in one of these large-scale hotels, most of which lie in the centrally located Vila Boaventura and Vila Argos Nova neighborhoods. In the countryside around town, plenty of rural guesthouses, farmhouses, and eco-lodges--sometimes known as "pousadas"--offer rustic charm and lower prices. To see local industries in action, consider staying on a local fruit farm.
