Padim Cico Statue attracts hundreds of thousands of followers of Padre Cícero, a preacher and prominent community leader who died in 1934. Posthumously canonized by the Brazilian Catholic Apostolic Church, the priest was venerated by local believers as a saint even during his life. His role in the emancipation and the development of his beloved city was so great that he has become its most recognizable symbol. Locals proudly assert that this is "The Land of Padre Cícero." The 25-meter (82-foot) statue is located in the Horto Garden, from which you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire region. Nearby is a museum dedicated to the preacher’s life and work, with exhibitions and literature about the area’s history and cultural heritage.   • Part of programming visit the garden, where the statue of Father Cicero and enjoy the story of a man who was in his time and that is so revered throughout the Northeast

  • Indispensable for visitors to tour the Cariri. Place of festivals and pilgrimages. Can be seen from most of the city and even who's flying and choose the seats left. Has a Museum and great view of the city. Don't forget the classic picture asking for blessing and three laps in his narrow staff.

  • Not to be missed, this monument that is the main attraction of Juazeiro do Norte. Nice location with great view of the city and to the Chapada do Araripe. Parking, shopping, Museum and small restaurants and bars. I really enjoyed.
