Dinosaur, lizards, fish, scorpion, and other animal and plant fossils are displayed at Museu de Paleontologia de Santana do Cariri. The collection of over 3000 pieces is a good place from families with children. Guides are knowledgeable and ready to assist with information. There is a small souvenir shop but no snack bar. • It's not so close of Juazeiro, where I was, but it was worth driving up there to see the reconstitution of the fossils. The guides also help you understand the layers of soil, place of great value to scholars in the area.
