  • The location of the museum itself draws attention, due to the street of princes. The House is well preserved, with furniture. The outside is very beautiful, especially the trees. Free visit and very friendly service.

  • The second floor of the Museum was closed for works. On the first floor, are basically two rooms that can be seen through glass and that recreate period environments with furniture and utensils. On the same ground, behind the main house, a House with typical architecture and another containing transport media. Despite the extremely attentive employee, there's not much to see.

  • Interesting, but you can only see two rooms of the House. In the back, exhibitions of antique wagons cool. There's no fee to enter. Worth the visit.

  • One of the best museums of Joinville. Too bad a very interesting part of the acquis (the 3rd floor front House) is in maintenance. Even so, who comes to Joinville should try this back to the past. Be sure to visit the home of settler and shed the wagons, which are at the back of the main house.

  • Very interesting site. It's an opportunity to go back in time and learn a little about the history of the region. The team and very attentive and reports with details historical facts. The Museum passes an air of nostalgia and tranquility. Great option for a walk with the kids.

Where to stay in Joinville

Despite not drawing in a particularly large number of tourists, Joinville has a useful mix of budget, mid-range, and luxury options to suit travelers on all budgets. Many of the city's accommodations are geared toward businesspeople, with most hotels concentrated around the city center and offering clean and efficient lodging. Budget options typically consist of hotels of varying quality, although if you reserve in advance you may be able to secure a bed in the city's lone youth hostel. If you don't need to be close to the city center for business reasons, look to stay a bit further west in one of several hotels near Parque da Expoville.
