  • The place is very well maintained, including many pieces of equipment and some paintings on the walls from different eras. It's free and very easy to get to, park and visit. Very historic and the buil...  more »
  • The railroad station is a historic building of Joinville, where there is a museum that preserves the history of this important means of transport for the beginning of the colonization of the city. The still has going on there, but only "pass" because it goes straight to the port of São Francisco do Sul. The last one I saw had 4 locomotives and nearly 100 wagons. It's huge, and when, to traffic in some busy streets of the city. Worth the visit to the building and, if you're lucky, you can travel back in time with the passage of the train. Too bad he has no fixed schedule. Passes of 2 to 4 times a day, always at random times. Ah, unable to board the train. It's just to look.

  • I confess that I was disappointed with the conservation of the station today. The site was closed and had no visitation. No information on the door or confidence to guide us.

  • How many sights of the city, the place lies in forgetting. Despite constant reforms and has recently have gone through a reform of the structure, still has little option as Museum and surroundings. Is a good place for those who like the railway history in our region or passing through the area. Not worth a detour to visit if you have no intention of visiting something in the region. Avoid the place at night, because the environment is not very secure, except if any event annex, as from time to time.

  • A beautiful place, but it's noticeable lack of care with the building. But what disappointed me most is that, despite the location being open for visitation and with two officials present, a vigilante and another boy who seemed to be there to receive the visitors, was completely ignored. The boy who was wearing sunglasses reading a book was totally different to my presence and i the God oitra family entered the scene. Another disappointment was with the BICYCLE MUSEUM that was closed and a gentleman informed me that had been closed because the collection was sold to a collector. Joinville in terms of cultural tourism encourages us not to come back. 😞

  • Very nice building and surrounding areas reasonably clean. A shame we don't have more passenger services and the railways were in the hands of carriers. It would be a great option to connect Joinville to St. Francis, relieving a little BR-280 on the weekends. But unfortunately the country has a carrocrata culture.

  • Feeling that was once a beautiful place. Currently very mild, but interesting to understand a little of the history of the place.

  • Sad to see a historic place as "despised" by the Government
