  • The school is very good, with qualified instructors who teach the kite surf safely. The equipment is of good quality. For being a small school there is the advantage of a more personal service, directly directed to their needs, from beginner to advanced. The school can also organise a "downwind" If you want to. For foreigners is also very good as there are instructors fluent in English and French. Jair, the owner of the school, is location of the cavy is very good people and know much about kite. Not to mention that the PREA Beach has one of the best winds of the world for the practice of kite. I'm sure I'll be back!

  • Strongly recommend to Fly Wind for those who want to learn or practice kite in Jeri, don't miss it! Jair, owner of the school is super attentive, has very good instructors in the team and also a good price. Recommend going up the Preá instead of Jeri as the wind conditions are better, especially for those who are learning. Jair sent a car to pick us up in Jeri and then back at no extra cost, and still we know some really cool hotels in Preá where we made a snack. I did my first kite lessons with them and loved it! Would come back for sure to practice kite!

Where to stay in Jericoacoara

As part of a national park, building restrictions in Jericoacoara keep all new constructions within strict guidelines. As a result, the pousadas (guesthouses) here are squat and rustic, in keeping with the remote, paradisal charm of the place. Despite its isolation and small permanent population, Jericoacoara's tourism infrastructure has grown markedly in recent years, adding lots of pousadas to the main village. Ranging from luxury options with pools and other amenities, to simple rooms in humble abodes, you'll find accommodations to suit various budgets and tastes. Book in advance, especially for peak season (December to February).
