Farol do Serrote, Jericoacoara
(3.1/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web)
Step off the beaten track with a visit to Farol do Serrote, a lighthouse standing as the region’s symbol of remoteness and isolation from the world of screeching car horns and electronic billboards. Not just a remnant of the bygone days, this lighthouse is still in operation. Due to extreme shallowness of these waters, vessels often need careful guidance as they approach the shore. To preserve the area’s timeless quality, artificial street illumination is still forbidden by local law, which makes the lighthouse a necessary beacon of light for seafarers and villagers. You can stop by to watch the sunset from here, or stay late to see boats returning home after long days on the sea. • I visited couple do night shots ... 15-minute climb from the village of Jeri. The view is of Jeri night takes the day.. The breeze that comes from the sea is searing and allows unparalleled peace. Lantern light and water to enjoy a good time for it.

  • The view of the lighthouse and beautiful, but if you think it's a big Lighthouse lose hope, it's worth the hike, but take water, the way you come across several animals and a beautiful vegetation.
