Parque Nacional Cavernas do Peruacu Reviews

The caves are simply gorgeous, with beautiful and immense halls speleothems. It is necessary, at least 3 days to visit all the caves, which must have a tracking guide accredited by the ICMbio. The ICMbio twist 17 Km to the gate of access to caves. From there you have to walk to the entrance of the caves. That requires more is the cave of Pray, where you have to go up 500 stairs to reach the top. The work of the guide is R$450,00 to the number of up to 8 guests, for 3 days. The more people the better, the value is divided among the visitors. Most people only visit the cave of the Window, but all are wonderful and deserve to be visited. The Lapa of the paintings is fantastic, a huge wall full of cave paintings. The Beautiful Cave features the most beautiful and unusual speleothems. The Park is located in the District of Fabião 1, 18 km of Itacarambi and 64 km of Januária. Is a must!
Um parque jovem, recém criado com inscrições rupestres e cavernas. O que mais chamou minha atenção foi o estalactite " perna da bailarina" , registrado no Guiness, como o maior do mundo. Na imensidão ... more »A young Park, newly created with inscriptions and caves. What most caught my attention was the stalactite "leg of the dancer", registered in the Guinness, as the largest in the world. In the vastness of the cave was hard to believe your length. The region of Januária is very hot and the volume of water in the Park is small. The Peruaçu River and has little water volume, almost a Creek. Bathing is not allowed. The region's infrastructure.

Each with its specific beauties, with wonderful speleothems and other sets with its cave paintings. The big window, postcard of the Park, is really breath-taking. After rising almost 600 steps you reaches the first level where you will lose 1 hour peaceful dazzling cave upstairs. A vegetation mix to your fantastic beauty. Pass through the region and don't know the Window is a sin .... a blasphemy. The script for full hard three days visitation. What I could tell, I was there 10 days ago, is that the vast majority of people do the rest to route the Peruaçu Chapada Diamantina, ill know that around, Itacarambi, Januária and Barreiro there are wonderful caves not only to contemplate but also to enter and interact with them, several routes for climbing and abseiling, even for the inexperienced as I. On the page you'll find the relationship of the ICMBIO guides to the Park. However, not everyone will take you to the surroundings and with training for climbing and rappelling. We went with guide Htoo Lima Neto, the Scripts in balance and, really, I recommend because he has the feeling to see your tourist profile and offer the best the region has to offer. Ten days it was just to be there
Is very worthwhile! Beautiful caves and limpets with cave paintings. Get ready to walk and enjoy the great nature in minute detail. Excellent ride. Super recommend ...
Virgin nature. Priceless heritage: I hope with the opening to the public any fdp spoil the cave paintings or break stalactites of millions of years.
Impossible to describe in words the whole magnitude and beauty I've seen in 3 days of visitation to the Park through the 8 hiking trails open to the public. The Guide Joe Lino was wonderful, but knowing about the caves, knew all about the leak in two places, I was delighted! I want to go back again! Just loved it!
Awesome Park for anyone who wants to know a lot about the people who lived thousands of years ago, the current Northern mines. School of geology in the caves, caves, walls and the impressive window. A world heritage site in Minas Gerais.
