  • The headquarters Museum is very small, one room only, where there are some copies of objects and tools, weapons and clothes used by the military of their own infantry in question and other who made donations to the collection. The visit is simple, but it is worth knowing that peculiar theme; the monitor that accompanies the visit is also very attentive and tries to show everything he knows. The most beautiful of the Museum is undoubtedly the building! Yields beautiful pictures of both the internal and external area.

  • The gates are closed while it is made the visit because it only has a monitor, just wait that soon opens again, need more information about these details on the outside, the impression it gives is only open to comply with table, but it was very interesting.

  • Very cool place to learn a little about how it works and the history of the Brazilian Army. The visitation is all made by military personnel who are very polite and attentive. The site was a Jesuit school and then was transformed in the Artillery Regiment of the army. Worth knowing! VA with time because it has many historical parts and wealth of information!

Where to stay in Itu

Much of Itu's accommodations lie in the city center, in the form of larger, upscale hotels that provide pools, fine dining, and plenty of the amenities you'd expect from well-known chains. While these tend to feature higher prices, they offer easy access to the attractions in the city center. Budget travelers should keep an eye out for smaller family-run guesthouses and hotels scattered around the historic core. To escape the bustle of the city center, consider staying in the surrounding countryside. Though you'll need some form of transportation to get to and fro, staying in the outskirts puts you close to some of the region's numerous plantation-style homes, many of which date back to the 18th century.
