The Church is ancient and historic. The masses are celebrated there are very good. The Friar who prayed the mass explained very well the Gospel of the day. Mass on Sunday at 11:00.

Too bad it's so little visited, your location and appearance of fact are not your great attractions, however this is the Church that has the main Baroque works in the city of Itu, mainly in the lounge which is annexed to the nave. Are Baroque works of the 18th century that belonged to the old Franciscan church and convent of the city.

Where to stay in Itu

Much of Itu's accommodations lie in the city center, in the form of larger, upscale hotels that provide pools, fine dining, and plenty of the amenities you'd expect from well-known chains. While these tend to feature higher prices, they offer easy access to the attractions in the city center. Budget travelers should keep an eye out for smaller family-run guesthouses and hotels scattered around the historic core. To escape the bustle of the city center, consider staying in the surrounding countryside. Though you'll need some form of transportation to get to and fro, staying in the outskirts puts you close to some of the region's numerous plantation-style homes, many of which date back to the 18th century.
