Zooparque, Itatiba

Categories: Zoos & Aquariums, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web
Zooparque is found within 50 hectares (124 acres) of well-preserved forest islands and streams, making it one of the largest zoos in Brazil. Following a 3km (1.86 mi) trail, you can observe more than 1,000 various animals from Brazil, Africa, Eurasia, and Australia, some of them out in wide-open spaces. The path is protected from the sun by trees, providing nice shade and many benches along the way offer a place to take a rest. The monitors are very helpful and keen on presenting interesting information in an easy way for children to understand. You can traverse the entire park in about three hours. In some sections of the park, you can take photos with the animals that are free roaming, accompanied by employee supervision, of course. A restaurant serving snacks and drinks is available for you to refuel. A visit to Zooparque represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Itatiba vacation route planner to plot your vacation.

  • I went with my son (10 years) my husband and a friend's House, the holidays 12/10! The Park was full, but I've never seen such organization even in the midst of so many people. You can know all the park without worrying if you forgot some attraction, as well as secure the trail it directs to a full path. The animals are beautiful super well treated, the staff extremely polite. There is no push push, because the framework facilitate everyone to see the animals without the need to be atumultuados. My tip is to take something to munch on during the course of the trail, don't worry about beverages, take only a bottle of water ... water fountains throughout the path. I never knew the Diners, but offer snacks and portions the food of the restaurant is great, self service, the price is salty. But everything is very worthwhile, because this site does not have any government intervention, is private property, maintained by the purchase of tickets, as well as animal feed. Nominate the visit with the little ones, it's worth it!

  • Walk to any group, and especially for children. Has many types of interactions on the path, hiking, animals in large environments and very similar to the natural habitat; Nice to see and live.
