Ilha do Guajiru, Itarema

Categories: Islands, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 65+ reviews on the web
Although it is called an island, Ilha do Guajiru is actually a lush peninsula, once used as a coconut plantation, and covered in Guajirú bushes--the sweet, red berries that give the area its name. The year-round sunshine that once attracted the coconut farmers, today attracts beach-goers and lovers of watersports. A long spit of sand, running parallel to the beach, creates a calm lagoon, which is perfect for kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking and swimming. On land, you can explore the green island by foot, cycle, or quad, or simply stretch out on the pristine, white sands. • DonGuajiru is an ideal place to learn and perfect kite. A language of sea water flat and steady wind, allows all safely. Barraca donKite is without a doubt the cutest place. Well-furnished rooms with mini bar and wifi. The mine (9) c overlooking the sea and the pool. Breakfast is included and is very complete. A la carte meals well fresh and excellent service! There are guys who help with Assembly of the Kite, and to raise and lower it. Very good place to store equipment. Congratulations to Ale and his wife by this fantastic place!
