  • Place not to be missed, the view is great, but could stay open until about 8:00 pm in the summer. Admission is free, clean, organized and with good infrastructure.

  • You can see the whole city. Great place for photos. Be careful when you drive do not leave belongings inside there are many robberies in the area. Sometimes the elevator has problems and the climb up the stairs is a bit tiring, but it pays off when you're out there.

  • The Viewpoint of the charm is in the top of the Hill of the Head, in the corner of the beach and offers a beautiful view of the edge of Itapema and your surroundings with green mountains and the Atlantic forest. Has 26 meters high and is located 156 meters above sea level. In addition to bathrooms and benches, the site houses a crafts shop. The climb to the top of the Belvedere is made by a staircase with about 100 steps, or by a panoramic elevator, which was under maintenance when we visited the place. Free access. Worth the visit.

Where to stay in Itapema

An established destination for tourists, there are plenty of choices when it comes to accommodations in Itapema. Opt to stay in a resort-style hotel, offering a range of facilities, including swimming pools, spas, and on-site gyms, or choose a simpler option, providing a comfortable place to sleep and proximity to the beach. If you're on a budget, consider staying in one of the town's pousadas (guesthouses), or camping grounds. Follow the coastal road south to find more accommodations in the other towns nestled in the attractive bay.
