Meia-Praia Beach, Itapema

4.3
#1 of 8 in Things to do in Itapema
A long, wide beach running parallel with a city street, Meia-Praia Beach is most definitely a beach with an urban, animated feel. Locals enjoy strolling along the beach’s well-tended promenade, which also has a short, modern wooden boardwalk. There are many beach-side facilities, including a bicycle lane and fresh-water showers, while the natural vegetation of the area is being restored in an ongoing operation. Meia-Praia Beach is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Itapema Edition.

  • Very good beach for swimming, very good infrastructure, as many shops and places to eat. Everything is relatively too close, so the cost benefit is very good.

  • What more if you see the streets of Meia Praia are families on vacation. Sea Beach calm in most days. Does not have extensive strip of sand, but the Boardwalk pays off, good for walking and physical activity. Very nice.

  • MEIA Praia is the one place where you park your car and get out of the garage when you get home. Good infrastructure, great for family, leisure, shopping anyway all you need for quiet holiday.

An established destination for tourists, there are plenty of choices when it comes to accommodations in Itapema. Opt to stay in a resort-style hotel, offering a range of facilities, including swimming pools, spas, and on-site gyms, or choose a simpler option, providing a comfortable place to sleep and proximity to the beach.
