  • This is the second time I go to the temple, is a very quiet environment, I love taking pictures, I was able to make beautiful pictures, a really good place to go with family, picnicking. Worth knowing!

  • The place is away and I believe that there is no public transport to get there. Admission is 5.00 per person and ration to feed the CARP costs 2.00. The Kinkaku-Ji temple you have to go down and then climb several stairs. Not recommend for people with mobility difficulties. But getting there I discovered that has access by Temple Enko Ji, where you can arrive by car and pay nothing. The 2 temples are in the same field. The place is actually a crematorium and in the middle of the forest you can see the funerary urns, and also inside the temple. Careful in the return, I messed up the fork in the road and had to walk several km on a dirt road until you reach the BR again.

  • Impressive architecture in wooden temple on the edge of the Lake. Good ride and option to spend the day in Zurich.
