  • For those who like the beach little busy, that's a great suggestion. I've been on holiday weekend of 02/11/2017 and the beach was pretty empty compared to the Praia Grande. If you have beach chairs, umbrella, there is a great place to use, because the strip of sand is pretty big. The sea was very choppy.

  • The beach is not very pretty, but it is perfect for children or those seeking tranquility for rest. If the order is ballad or fun suggest looking at other beaches. In season there until a few kiosks promoting shows and stuff like that but in general do not have a lot of entertainment option. Is one of the cleanest beaches of the coast and the sea is always appropriate. both were born as the sunset are very beautiful seen from there. If you just want to enjoy the sand and let the kids playing without preocuoar, this is the ideal beach.

Where to stay in Itanhaem

As you'd expect in a town popular for its beaches, the greatest number of accommodations in Itanhaem do their best to get as close to the golden sands and sea as possible. These range from upmarket beach club hotels and resorts offering private beaches and bars with sea views, to simple, unfussy bed and breakfasts located beachside. Follow the river inland to find resort-style accommodations surrounded by the lush vegetation and tropical feel of the Atlantic Forest. To get out into the region's formidable rural areas, consider staying at one of the motels along Rodovia Padre Manoel da Nobrega, the main road for heading in and out of town.
