Where to stay in Itanhaem

As you'd expect in a town popular for its beaches, the greatest number of accommodations in Itanhaem do their best to get as close to the golden sands and sea as possible. These range from upmarket beach club hotels and resorts offering private beaches and bars with sea views, to simple, unfussy bed and breakfasts located beachside. Follow the river inland to find resort-style accommodations surrounded by the lush vegetation and tropical feel of the Atlantic Forest. To get out into the region's formidable rural areas, consider staying at one of the motels along Rodovia Padre Manoel da Nobrega, the main road for heading in and out of town.

  • Ideal for those who enjoy a historic ride. Is located in the City Centre (near the Giraffes-snack bars). Access is via a ramp (can be difficult for people with mobility difficulties or on rainy days) you can see a good part of town up (to take pictures). • The location of the convent is already an attraction. Imagine it was built around 1700 is more impressive. Access is by a ramp, stones drop but too steep that requires care in ascent and descent. The view of the city's beautiful historic centre, current constructs and the beach depending on where you look. The Church's altar in carved wood, with several details that show the care and the antiquity of the construction.
