  • Attend is Beach five years ago. I love! Clean, with good and tasty kiosks. Super indico! The best part is in front of the Hotel Harmony.

  • Broad beach, nice, calm sea, sometimes appear turtles, has the Pocinho de Anchieta, quiet place for children, where Anchieta catequizava Indians.

  • The beach is good. When I visited the time was closed, but gave it to enjoy quietly the beach. The water temperature is pleasant, the size of the waves can play fairly, the sand is dark but clean. It takes forward several meters towards the sea so that the water cover the chest, i.e. ideal for children due to shallow. The end of afternoon on this beach was wonderful (follows picture I took)

Where to stay in Itanhaem

As you'd expect in a town popular for its beaches, the greatest number of accommodations in Itanhaem do their best to get as close to the golden sands and sea as possible. These range from upmarket beach club hotels and resorts offering private beaches and bars with sea views, to simple, unfussy bed and breakfasts located beachside. Follow the river inland to find resort-style accommodations surrounded by the lush vegetation and tropical feel of the Atlantic Forest. To get out into the region's formidable rural areas, consider staying at one of the motels along Rodovia Padre Manoel da Nobrega, the main road for heading in and out of town.
