  • If you have to choose a cave to visit in the Chapada Diamantina, go to Torrinha. The Grotto is huge and we made the trip complete with guide that really understands the subject. This is a real Speleological tour, entitled the flashlight and helmet-mandatory and useful. Most of the time, the spaces are wide, but, for anyone who has a phobia of closed environments and tight, you better choose the path less, without tightening, with large underground halls and even flowers, of aragonite.

  • Overcoming is the word for the full tour! Very rare formations!! In a lot of times you have to duck to get through!! Very interesting!!

  • We love and recommend! Not to be missed! To get in the cave: leaving Sheets take the BR242, near the km368 take the exit with the Iraquara (BA432/BR122). At the time of the km123 turn left (the cave). Ate there so asphalt, from there over 1300 m on a dirt road to the cave. We were at the end of April/2017 and the highway was in good condition. The cave runs from 8:00 until 5:00 pm. Have 2 scripts. For groups from 3 people 2 the script goes for $45.00 and the script 3, which is the most complete, goes for $60.00 per person. It is possible the ride just for 1 or 2 people but leaves a little more expensive. We went in (no group, just the two of us) and pay $100. But we're ruling out the Hall of needles. The day we went there was no possibility of payment with card ... so the best is to take money. VA or a tennis shoe closed. Does not have accessibility for people with mobility difficulties. The walk is long, but it's not hard. Complicated in some stretches that are narrow and the height is reduced (have to walk crouched!). Anyway, don't let go.
