  • Good old town church, which is part of the history of the city. Located in the city centre, next to a nice square. The Church was renovated and is in good condition. The masses are very popular.

  • The Church is beautiful, is part of the history of Indaiatuba and finds himself at Ground Zero, the historic centre of Indaiatuba. Has already been reformed a few times and is preserved. Worth in and visit.

  • The array of our Lady of Candelaria is located on Candlemas Street between Pedro Gonçalves (old street of straw) and XV de Novembro (former Rua da Palma) and between the platters Sete de Setembro Street (formerly Commerce Street) and Rua Dom José (formerly San Jose Street). Does facing the Praça Dom José de Camargo Barros, indaiatubano and Holy Bishop of Diocese of Paraná and Santa Catarina by Pontifical Letter of 16 January 1894 by Pope Leo XII. The array of Candelaria is one of the few surviving churches in the State of Sao Paulo built in taipa-Pounder. This was the dominant system in the São Paulo plateau until the late 19th century and consisted of cramming layers of damp earth between shapes (the walls). The array has modest dimensions, your main façade measures 17.72 meters and the lateral façade measures 45.20 meters. The main ship 9.84 meters wide and 23.30 meters long. The chapel of the blessed has 6.53 meters wide and 13.20 meters long. The longitudinal walls are insulated, and the inner walls, which form the main nave, separated from outer walls by galleries of 1.87 meters wide. The two walls have thicknesses of 1.05 meters. This gallery is interrupted at intervals by cross walls of taipa-pestle, cut just through the doors of the galleries of the upper floor. These galleries, for your time, doors-Windows with iron balconies and are joined by the choir that features antique iron grids and is supported by two columns of cabreúva massive that delimit the windscreen. The upper gallery floor boards are quite wide and ancient. All original doors, internal and external, have the arched lintel. The huge main door and a door on each side are fitted with hinges (joints in which a sympathetic to the door leaf pin penetrates into hollow glasses tied to shoulder pads. The roof extended into wide overhang to the first decades of the 20th century, when it was cut, and the external walls extended parapets. Nothing is known with precision about the beginning of your construction, but is surely in 1839 had the walls of taipa-Pounder. Several important changes have taken place in the array in its nearly 200 years of existence. Nothing left of his three altarpieces, altars, ancient arco-cruzeiro, floor boards or your ceiling painted. By lot that kept original features, the matrix of Candelária of Indaiatuba, is listed by the historical heritage of Indaiatuba and represents important patrimony of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Campinas and Indaiatuba people. • Probably the main history point. It was around this church that the city began to form, next to it there is still the No. 1 House!
