Building a little old church, with stained glass Windows and good views of the city. I'm Catholic and so I found it very interesting to view p the sea and other parts of the city.

She represents the Bishop's dream that initiated the works, d. Eduardo, who was buried in the Church itself and is until today reason of idolatry, considered holy by many faithful. The Cathedral was inaugurated in 1967, took over thirty years to be built. The size of the Church impresses. She has, in your main dome, 48 meters high. Has a huge cultural value, by representing to the local society and for the tourist activity of the municipality. The Cathedral of Saint Sebastian is undoubtedly the symbol of Ilhéus and the most important tourist attraction.
