Cristo Beach, Ilheus

(1.5/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
A statue of the Redeeming Christ watches over Cristo Beach, a popular and vibrant beach fringed by grass and dark, lush vegetation. This beach is very much a place to be seen, and to be seen doing things; there are numerous activities on offer, including kayaking, jet-skiing, and Hobie Cat sailing, all of which make Cristo Beach an ideal location for the more adventurous beach-goer. Take a look at our Ilheus trip builder to schedule your visit to Cristo Beach and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • The closest to the Central ... This is the Christ Redeemer of Ilhéus yields beautiful pictures ... The beach itself is calm waters ... looks like a pond with small strip of sand. Little infrastructure although it has descended several tourists on the cruise had only two stands of coconut and sodas ....

  • The beach of the Christ has been the best beach of Ilhéus, but unfortunately the time and the amount of works completely changed the landscape of place. Has only a small space, with tent, where you can stay and have a beer. There is a work for the construction of a bridge, which makes it nice not staying in place. The Hill of Pernambuco is right forward (now with the vision of the work of the new bridge). To enjoy the beach of Morro, this is very hot, but has no infrastructure ... deserted, is required through the Headland to and access behind the Hill.

  • The beach looks manufactured, found a dirty, I can't explain it, but I wouldn't go back there, I didn't see any structure only a few stalls.
