  • The track is to hot to do, but it is a heavy and difficult to track, fatigue and decreased when it's inside the forest, since the same and refreshing the is a delight to walk, I took 2 hours to get to the top, but I was alone which may have eased the rapidity, to come down I took 1:30 , have no water in the way, so take plenty of water at least 3 litres per person. The vision so top of the peak is very rewarding, it's pretty much a view up, to take great pictures; see Sao Sebastião, ilhabela and Caraguatatuba, recommend to do this trail.

  • I just went up to the observation tower in which it's a visual track is well located, happens in an entry next to the Church Assembly of God, I did with my mother, children and women with a bit of conditioning can do from there are a few more Assembly 5 minute drive on which are very steep climbs, I advise you to stop the car near the first pousada you see , I was a little recioso to stop the car up and a very steep slope, but since had risen stopped there, the track is by a narrow caminhozinho that leads to the lookout for about 20 minutes of walking depending on the pace. As the snakes don't saw any but is that dense forest and you risk entering, I found two ladies of the city in which they said they encounter snakes sometimes but if you do it carefully the trail without problems. Hugs and worth going to even if it is up to the viewpoint that it is not too far

  • The trail has a length of 7.4 km round trip and requires a certain physical fitness, given the difficulty of the path. The ideal is to start the trail early, around some 7:00 or 8:00, to walk with more peace of mind and make stops because it has parts that are quite steep and require effort. You will get at least a 2:00 of walk to reach the peak. Take water, at least 2 liters per person, bars of cereals, fruits and sunscreen. The ideal is to go from pants to avoid injuries, t-shirt with sleeves, a hat and comfortable shoes. Pay close attention on the trail as it is easy to find snakes. It was just my husband and I and we were fortunate to find no, however most of the people that was found. You can make the trail without a guide, she is well signposted, just pay a little attention and is always good to go in a group of people.
