  • The first time I was in Spain was 40 years ago. We went to jeep, for a really challenging trail, we took almost 5 hours to arrive. As my wife didn't know, we decided to do the tour. Total disappointment. The beach became a neighborhood of Ilhabela, many restaurants, tables, umbrellas. A bunch of 4 x 4 vehicles and motorbikes. What was the trail leading up there, now it's just a bad road. I agree that everything evolves, but for being a Park/Reserve, believe that it should be preserved, less "civilized" the lost beach grace and charm

  • Very nice beach, but what counts is the ride to the falls of the cat! Wonderful place! 4. track. the quiet ... beautiful waterfall!

  • Possibility to have the beach and Woods in the same place. On the other hand, the Catelhanos Bay: with 1, 5 m waves and pale water. On the other side, after a 2 km trail with moderate difficulty, is the Cat falls. Take repellent and tennis to do the trail. There is no electricity at the site, a few establishments accept credit card. Transportation is by Jeep 4 x 4, where the normal cost is 80 R$ agencies, but look for the raids at pereque Beach to pay cheaper, especially if you are in a group. The tents are expensive, but not much.
