  • Beach not very pretty, but they will not in any circumstances at the Inn of the winds. Is a guesthouse with restaurant offering a food with terrible quality apart from the price being dishonest. Does not even wifi for customers. I asked my invoice expenses and they wanted to charge me 9% tax. The owner of the site is uncompromising and very rude, I'm not on vacation for sure would get into trouble. Does not accept card and does not comply with the duty to issue your invoice. A disaster, Enterprise doomed to fail!!!! Gets the alert about this Inn.

  • And without a lot of people, is a fishing community in Salvaterra, there are great posadinhas as the Praia Grande and Gale, was in two and are what we need. To eat, be sure to go to the fish market and eat a baby alligator or fresh Golden, talk to the Herald he will leave you desire. If you can view the Sunrise not lose as it is breathtaking.

  • Small town friendly, pleasant, nice people. Ideal for those who want beautiful scenery, Breeze and good bathing in the estuary of the Amazon. It was difficult to understand the Marajó island and its localities, search well before you go. Are sixteen municipalities and an area bigger than Belgium. Village of the municipality of Salvaterra Joanes. Of Bethlehem take the boat or catamaran Waterway Terminal, next to the Estação das Docas. River transport will take you to the port of Cairns, there land transportation (vans on your most, $7.00/person) make the transfer to Village Joanes or Salvaterra or Soure. The village of Joanes Village has only two restaurants, and when we were only one was working, prices do not correspond in quality and quantity to that offer. What saved us go to homemade food, tasty, price fair and honest amount d. Erica who lives right near the town square. Joanes has beautiful beaches for hikes that can last up to 2:00, always organizing the second time the tides. The big surprise of the place was the handicrafts produced by the Rural Educational and craft Village Joanes (AERAJ) that produces a wide range of high quality products with technical and aesthetic, refining the project "art Tide". It's worth devoting your time to visit, buy, and get to know the beautiful prosear trajectory of women, who are the majority in the Association, and fight for the recognition they deserve. There is a very tasty bread. Before going to take a small ranch to Joanes not only depend on the little offer of where to eat. There are several guesthouses and several prices. Some accommodation with strategic locations to take advantage of the breeze and the landscape. Take very repellent, as there are days in which mosquitoes attack even. Thus, the mosquito nets at the inns are key! We stayed 4 days, was super relaxed, because it was low season and everything was very quiet. A good book and good company is very good for enjoying the quiet of the place. Of Salvaterra and Soure to Joanes is complicated transport. So if you're going to drive everything is better, or will depend on the prices don't really account of taxis and mototaxis. One of the pousdas of Joanes rents bicycles (review well before getting a!). We did the tour and it was super cool to go to bike-Soure and Salvaterra are approximately 60 km round-trip paved road and flat, I recommend! Make the pace with protective gear in the Sun, water and something to snack. Unfortunately Buffalo cheese is rarity in Joanes. But, the animals roam, graze, take showers and work all over the village.
