  • We arrived at the island of Itaparica (Praia Ponta de areia) in a schooner. The ride is very nice. Has no Pier, we disembarked the schooner in boats that took us to the beach. The sea is calm and warm water. The Mangrove Restaurant has a great port for the site. Pay per person and we eat, food varied and very good with sweet dessert and fruit. The landscape is beautiful. Give also the option to make a tour of the island of Itaparica accompanied by guide I chose to rest in the hammock area, because the schedule is pretty hectic.

  • One of the best beaches in Itaparica. Definitely worth knowing, spend a day with friends. Quiet beach for children, activities such as stand up and kayaking. Or a cold beer in one of their tents.

  • The view of the sea. But to take a shower, first have to cross a strip of sand covered by stones, gravel and pebbles mixed pointed to broken glass and trash. Then when you enter, discovers that the darker green of the water is because of dirt at the bottom, like algae, but they look like debris of vegetation. I don't know, but it bothers a lot of pisa in those debris. Besides, the water is warm and the sea calm, it would be great for bathing, it wasn't dirt. To top it off, the bar where we were gathered the tables and closed at 4:30 pm (just like everyone else on the beach). Weird!!!!
